Capitol's first Multi-Million Dollar producer
Capitol’s Top Producer for 2005 and 2007

“Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference”

Grant Riley, founder and director for SSC is no stranger to success. Having grown up in Florida Grant made his mark early in sports playing baseball in high school, JR college and even playing professionally in the minor leagues before he really found his niche… sales & marketing. After receiving a degree in Hotel & Restaurant Administration and getting his Certified Hotel Administrator from the University of Houston. Grant didn’t waste any time getting started in the business world.

He moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico and immediately took the reins of the Santa Fe Inn. During his tenure there he cultivated a relationship with the Film Commission and implemented changes that would later be implemented throughout New Mexico. The film industry is still a major player in New Mexico’s economy Grant added a major Taos hotel and the ski destination market to his accomplishments. Building on relationships throughout the tourism, film, and lodging industry, Grant accepted the challenge of being named National Director of Marketing for CMC-Meridian a full service promotions agency that brings together large corporations with sales ideas. Major accounts like CBS, Clear Channel, Pepsi, New Jersey Nets, and the list goes on. He was recruited to cultivate uncharted territory in 1997 and is currently the company’s first producer ever to exceed two million dollars in one year in the travel industry.

When Grant realized that his daughter was talented enough to play collegiate soccer, he started asking questions about the process. Given his background in sales, marketing, and love for amateur athletics, he was not satisfied with the “one size fits all” approach of those who were supposed to be helping. He learned how to find the inside track just like what is the standard in the cutting edge world of business and marketing. The rest is history. Add Grant’s marketing persistence and inside knowledge with coaches, Susan Nestor’s technical and legal savvy with the NCAA and Shannon Orr’s fitness and soccer skills you have the ultimate “scholarship coach”.
